It extract ingedient : Sennosides 4%,6%8%HPLC.
Other ingredient:, Rhein ,anthrone, the material has a useful role in stimulating the activity of the colon (bowel movement to speed up and improve their digestion) and increased secretion of fluid.
Action:1) It is used in the treatment of constipation,working through a stimulation of intestinal
peristalsis.
2) It also helps to temporaroly prevent fluid from being absorbed from the large
intestine,thus contributing to softer stools.
This medication is used to treat constipation caused by conditions such as slowing of the intestines (e.g., diabetic autonomic neuropathy), prolonged bed rest/hospitalization, use of constipating medications (e.g., narcotics), or irritable bowel syndrome. This product contains either a stimulant or irritant laxative. Both types of laxatives help to increase the activity of the intestines to move stool out faster.
